This Regulation is intended to establish the rules of operation of the Dom Pedro Golf Academy located in Vilamoura, municipality of Loulé,

The use of the existing facilities on golf courses and training camp for learning or improvement purposes, is only authorized to those who have acquired lessons and by monitoring the golf professional at the service of Dom Pedro - Investimentos Turísticos, S.A.

CLIENT

  1. The Golf Academy's services are open to players of both sexes, with or without previous golf game experience, and are intended for learning or improvement.

SCHEDULE

  1. Classes will run from January to December, with the exception of January 1st and December 25th,
  2. Classes from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Academy's training camps, a variable schedule depending on the time of year and class times.
  3. The Academy Headquarters at Pinhal Golf Course is open from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.

SCHEDULING CLASSES

  1. Any player who has not made a prior accepted booking is subject to the availability of golf professionals at the service of Dom Pedro – Investimentos Turísticos, S.A.
  2. Appointments must be held at the Headquarters of Dom Pedro Golf Academia  and shops of the golf courses.
  3. The reservation of classes in advance requires a prepayment of 50% of the total value. The remaining amount must be  settled before the scheduled time for class.
  4. Failing to attend or canceling lessons, with less than 24  hours notice, does not entitle you to a refund.
  5. Each package has the maximum validity of 1 year to be confirmed with the professional;

ETIQUETTE

  1. Students and guests must respect the guidelines that come from the heads of the facilities or the teacher and, in general, conduct themselves with respect for the values of silence, natural environment and cordial relationship with third parties.
  2. Students must attend the Club House for class atleast 10 minutes before their class time.
  3. Recommended clothing: Trousers or shorts, polo, golf shoes or golf sandals with socks.

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

  1. Adults responsible for children present on site, attending golf lessons, it is the duty to enforce the rules in force on the premises.
  2. Parents should stay away during the running of classes, let the coach assume his role and function.

PRICES

  1. The attendance of classes presupposes the acquisition of lessons, the price and conditions of which are available to those interested in the website of The Dom Pedro Golf Academy, at the academy headquarters and in the different receptions of the golf courses.

REFUND

  1. In case of not holding the class due to adverse weather conditions, Dom Pedro – Investimentos Turísticos S.A., reserves the right not to refund the class, and may exceptionally make available to players prevented from performing or completing the lesson, a personal and non-transferable "lesson voucher" valid for 1 year.

MONTHLY GROUP CLASSES

  1. The payment of the monthly class must be made in the first week of each month, if you do not do so and there is a waiting list for the following month, you lose your scheduled hour.
  2. There will be no adjustments in the amount of the monthly fee of the group classes due to lack of attendance of the student. If the Professional is not able to attend the class the class should be rescheduled, without prejudice to the students.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE / TERM OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Each student should be responsible for his physical aptitude in the practice of the exhibition classes of golf.
  2. For students of the monthly classes, a valid medical certificate is required in their country of residence, declaring aptitude for the practice of the modality.
